Real authentic vintage Mali strip mud cloth textile, earth tones, handmade/handwoven/handcrafted in Mali. Measuring approx. 65 x 42 inches. (170 x 108 cm)
The mud cloth has sewn from handwoven cotton African cloth, which contains strips of cloth that have been sewn together, with various black designs imprinted on it ( depending on the type and style and of course the base color. The base color is an off white/cream and is not a pure white in the case of the ‘whites’.
Mud Cloth are all handmade fabrics. They are each hand spun and woven, hand dyed or hand painted, and varies among batches.
No two pieces of mud cloth are exactly alike. Mud Cloth fabric are made of strips individually woven then hand sewn together.
Due to the handmade nature of this textile there may be slight imperfections of the cloth adding to its character.
